Since the early hours of the Russian invasion, a coalition including The Fix Media, Are We Europe, Jnomics, and the Media Development Foundation, together with multiple media partners, has been working to support colleagues in Ukraine.
We need Ukraine’s media to keep going.
Ukrainian media need comprehensive support
Immediate
Delivery of equipment (e.g., PPE)
Tech support (debugging, server migration, cloud storage)
Immediate, direct financial support (i.e., micro-grants)
Short-term
Support with relocation and working both in Ukraine and abroad
Support in fundraising, grant writing and processing
Mid- and Long-term
Funding for 6-12 M to sustain key media amid market collapse
Work on building new business and operating models (ensuring at least partial viability/ sustainability)
